Tea plantation in Kericho County, Kenya
In the hills of Kericho County, Kenya, tea plantations are a common sight. Kenya is world’s third largest producer of tea, even though tea farming only started there about 100 years ago. Some of the larger, corporate farms harvest the leaves mechanically, but many of the smaller farms and co-ops in Kenya still harvest by hand.
