Coastal Spain seen from the International Space Station
American astronaut Scott Kelly retired from space travel recently. But when he was still astronaut-ing, he took countless photos of the view from the International Space Station. This shot of coastal Spain shows off how much detail he could see while orbiting the Earth. He took plenty of traditional ‘space’ photos as well, and selfies too (can you blame him?) but many of his photos turn the camera back towards Earth, showing off the amazing colour palette presented by both nature and human settlements.
