Mountain hare

Mountain hares are mostly found in the polar and mountainous surroundings. They usually live at an altitude of around 700 to 3800 m depending on the weather they are experiencing and the area they are in. They feed on grass, leaves, bark and other plants during the night and go into their shelters dug in snow or ground. and They live for nearly 12 years. The young ones are born with their eyes open, and the females are slightly heavier compared to males.
