Great tits on branch
These colourful birds resting on a tree branch during winter in France is a group of great tits, one of the most common bird species seen across most of Europe and Asia and in parts of North Africa. These birds are easy to identify by their green and yellow plumage with black, glossy heads. They’re commonly seen in gardens, taking up residence in nesting boxes and performing acrobatic feats while eating nuts and seeds. They are vocal birds and have up to 40 types of calls and songs.
