The seasonal displays, including this one in the Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol region in Northern Italy, feature a festive feast of traditional treats, such as these enchanting snow globes. Erwin Perzy, of Vienna, Austria, received the first patent for the snow globe in 1900, although they had been displayed at the Paris World’s Fair decades earlier.
