Fresh and salt waters mix at the Ter River estuary, near L'Estartit, Spain
The fresh waters of the Ter River empty into the brine of the Mediterranean on the northeast coast of Spain. And up on the shore, the resort town L’Estartit lets visitors take in the sights of the estuary where the waters meet, the beaches nearby, and the Montgrí Massif farther inland.
