The Royal touch. Red Fort of Delhi, India
The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, is a historic fortification located in the heart of Old Delhi, India. It was built in the mid-17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and served as his residence for several years. One of the most striking features of the Red Fort is its ornate arcade, which runs along the eastern edge of the fort's courtyard. This arcade is made up of a series of arches and pillars that are adorned with intricate carvings and designs. Visitors to the Red Fort can admire this beautiful arcade and take in the rich history and culture of Mughal India.
