Established since 1885, it is Canada’s first national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well. Spanning snow-covered peaks and pristine lakes, Banff is undoubtedly a popular travel destination all-year-long. This time of the year, visitors flock to the site to indulge in the alpine scenery, explore the magnificent ski hills, go ice skating on the frozen lakes and engage in just about any other outdoor winter activity.
