Glistening lakes and snowy peaks
This wintery postcard-like image is straight from the Canadian Rockies. The azure-blue water of Maligne Lake is a photographer’s paradise. At 22 kilometres in length, this lake is the largest natural lake in this region. The ice-capped mountains along with the open forest of spruce and pine makes for a scenic getaway. In the middle of Maligne Lake is Spirit Island which is only accessible by tour boats. It is easily among the most photographed spots in Jasper, Alberta.
