Famed for its picturesque beauty. Famed for its picturesque beauty
With over 160 lighthouses across Nova Scotia, Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse is the most photographed one. It was built in 1915 and continues keeping watch over the surging ocean waves. Located 43 kilometres south of Halifax, the lighthouse is about an hour’s drive from the city. Along with this picturesque historic attraction, Peggy’s Cove is home to an active fishing community. The vibrant village attracts visitors for its fresh seafood, pristine beaches, kayaking adventures and soothing views like the one pictured here.
