A patriotic party inside the Royal Albert Hall

The Proms reaches its climax tonight with the triumphant Last Night performances at the Royal Albert Hall, which is synonymous with the eight-week classical music festival having hosted the world-famous concerts since 1941. As per tradition, tonight's programme will be a patriotic jamboree. Popular classics will be followed by a second half of flag-waving favourites including Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory and Hubert Parry’s Jerusalem in the centenary year of the composer’s death.
