Henningsvær Idrettslag Stadion in the Lofoten archipelago of Norway
It might be a stretch to call this field a 'stadium' given there are no seats for spectators and it's only used for amateur football. But its stunning setting in Henningsvær, a fishing village on several small islands off the Lofoten archipelago in Norway, makes it one of the most striking football venues in the world. The pitch offers breathtaking views, and if you look closely, you'll see it is surrounded by wooden racks (called 'hjell' in Norway) that are used for drying fish, especially cod. They might also come in handy for stopping any stray balls from landing in the sea.
