The Houses of Parliament, famous as The Palace of Westminster, is an important symbol of the United Kingdom’s democratic system, and it has played a crucial role in shaping the country’s history. The building has survived numerous wars and disasters, including a major fire in 1834, and remains a significant landmark in London and a popular destination for visitors from around the world.
It’s famous for its iconic clock tower, known as Big Ben, which is one of the most recognisable landmarks in London. Visitors can take guided tours of the building, including the historic Westminster Hall, the House of Commons, the House of Lords chambers, and the Queen's Robing Room.
