Info. The Great Glen
This forest coated in hoarfrost is located in a valley called the Great Glen in the Scottish Highlands. The vast, pleasant valleys called glens are common features of Scotland’s mountainous north. This deep valley runs 100 kilometres coast to coast – from a North Sea inlet on the east to Loch Linnhe on the west. The Great Glen’s gentle slopes enclose fairytale forests like these as well as quaint villages and lochs – including nearby Invergarry and Loch Oich, respectively.
