Happy Father's Day
Known as excellent climbers, ibex have curved hooves with sharp edges, that enable them to have a strong grip. They can easily scale rocky mountain terrains and steep cliffs. As herbivore animals, their diet typically consists of grass, shrubs and bushes. These ibex in our image look like they're enjoying some family time for Father's Day. Observed on the third Sunday in June, Father’s Day came to Canada from the U.S. It was first celebrated in 1910 in Washington state.
