Floriade blooms for 2020
Over the last 33 years Canberra’s Floriade festival has been a staple of the city, showing off the beauty of spring to both locals and tourists. Understandably, 2020 marks the festival’s biggest change so far, transforming into ‘Floriade: Reimagined’ – with a tulip trail crafted by over 90 Canberra community groups guiding the way to over 130 sites around the town including workshops, talks and other various activities.
For those unable to attend the festivities, there will also be virtual programming held across the festival period – concluding on October 11 – meaning you can enjoy a bit of spring colour from the comfort of your couch.
