United we stand. Last long weekend of summer
As the first Monday in September, we are celebrating Labour Day across the nation. It originally began as a day for workers to campaign for better pay and working conditions. Citizens traditionally participated in speeches and parades to promote working-class solidarity. Today, the holiday is marked as the last long weekend of summer where Canadians engage in leisurely activities. How are you spending the last official holiday of summer?
