Scenic splendour. A UNESCO World Heritage site

Mount Assiniboine National Park was named in honour of the Assiniboine people and was created in 1922. This gem in the wilderness experiences a low volume of visitors since it is accessible only by hiking, skiing or a helicopter ride. The pyramid-like shape of the mountains surrounded by glistening glaciers and wildflowers tends to attract mountain climbers and hikers from around the world. Given its isolated location, for now, we’ll just appreciate this natural beauty from afar.
