A walk in the clouds
If you want front row seats to ice-capped Rocky Mountains and majestic glaciers, this glass-floored lookout at the Ice Fields Parkway is the perfect observation platform. At 918 feet high, the cliff-edge walkway known as the Glacier Skywalk, gives a bird’s eye view of the Sunwapta Valley and enables visitors to come eye-to-eye with the Canadian Rockies while experiencing waterfalls and wildlife. Walking on edge in a remote alpine location makes the Glacier Skywalk a picturesque and unique experience.
