The coastal town is a haven for tourists who come to Mount Desert Island in Maine, north-east United States. And, since you’re here, you might as well venture into Acadia National Park, which essentially hugs Bar Harbor. The park comprises 47,000 acres of land along the Atlantic coastline and attracts over three million visitors per year.
