These lavender marshmallows are called PEEPS® – chick-shaped treats that are popular in Easter baskets around the United States and Canada. Lots and lots of Easter baskets. On average, 5.5 million PEEPS® are made every day. In one year, the factory makes enough marshmallow chicks to circle the Earth – twice!
