The marshmallow PEEPS® factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
These lavender marshmallows are called PEEPS® – chick-shaped treats that are popular in Easter baskets around the United States and Canada. Lots and lots of Easter baskets. On average, 5.5 million PEEPS® are made every day. In one year, the factory makes enough marshmallow chicks to circle the Earth – twice! This year there’s a twist on the holiday: Easter Sunday falls on the same day as April Fool’s Day. Whatever you have planned – we hope your day is a sweet one.
