Small island cays west of Great Exuma in the Bahamas photographed from the International Space Station
This string of small islands west of Great Exuma in the Bahamas is one of the most recognisable places on Earth - when you're orbiting above it, that is. An astronaut, with a very steady hand, took this shot aboard the International Space Station. The image is a picturesque nod to World Space Week, which begins today.
