Nothing quite gets you in the festive mood like the magic of a Christmas market. This photo has been taken from the centre of Bath, which has been transformed into a hub of yuletide cheer, with over 170 stalls lining the streets surrounding the Roman Baths and medieval Abbey. Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa, the city of Bath was selected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1987 in recognition of its international cultural significance.
