A brown leghorn rooster
Per the Chinese zodiac, this is the year of the rooster. It’s also the first day of the lunar year, an observance celebrated in China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Tibet and Vietnam. In the West, we often simplify the name of this day as Chinese New Year. How will you celebrate the Chinese New Year today?
