Grasslands National Park, Canada

Grasslands National Park in Canada in Canada’s Saskatchewan province is a vast, awe-inspiring national treasure. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bison, pronghorn antelope and several bird species. Vast grassy plains, rugged badlands and unending banks of wildflowers make every step on a nature hike a marvel. The park is where you’ll find some of the last prairie grasslands not affected by humans, as well as Canada’s last black-tailed prairie dog groups. The park is also a dark sky preserve, committed to eliminating nighttime light pollution, so visitors can enjoy the vast canopy of stars that hangs over the park.
