The Fichtelberg is a mountain located in Saxony, Germany, in the Ore Mountain range. It is the highest mountain in Saxony, standing almost 1215 metres above sea level. This mountain is frequented by skiers going downhill and cyclists going up to the top while enjoying the surrounding scenic beauty. The Fichtelberg is home to many rare species of mountain plants such as the small white orchid and alpine clubmoss. A beautiful peace bell is located at the summit of this mountain, a perfect location to ring out over the valleys below.
