The Feldberg is called the highest mountain top in the Black Forest. Without a doubt, it is the highest peak sitting at 1493 feet tall. It offers one of the most extensive panoramic views in Germany, especially in winter when there is a temperature inversion. On its top, there is a 21-foot-high tower with a radar station called the Feldberg tower. It can be comfortably reached in a few minutes with the Feldberg cable car or in around 40 minutes by foot.
