A growing business
Today we're showing off a serene scene at a Christmas tree farm outside Peterborough, Ont. If you were to visit a farm like this, however, it's unlikely you'd find much peace and quiet this time of year. 'Tis the season for tree chopping. Canada is the world's largest exporter of Christmas trees, with Quebec accounting for 55 per cent of the exports, followed by Nova Scotia. In 2017, at least 2.3 million trees were exported at a total value of $49.4 million - spreading holiday cheer around the world.
