You’ll find the aquamarine water in today’s picture along Australia’s Gold Coast in Queensland, approximately 66 kilometres from the state capital Brisbane. Known as Australia’s holiday capital, the Gold Coast is home to top-class international restaurants, famous theme parks, relaxed neighborhoods and, of course, stretches of golden-sand beaches.
Along this sun-soaked coast is Palm Beach, a coastal suburb famed for its excellent surfing conditions and wide, sandy shoreline. While other locations along the Gold Coast are more developed, Palm Beach still retains a laid-back atmosphere. Here you can find quaint beach shacks and true surfing enthusiasts – in fact, Palm Beach has thrice been crowned Queensland’s cleanest beach.
