Kolli Hills
Kolli Hills is a small mountain range located in central Tamil Nadu and spread over the Namakkal district of India. This beautiful location is also referred to as the Kolli Malai, which means the ‘Mountains of Death’. The spot is famous for the Agaya Gangai waterfalls and Arapaleeswarar temple, which is an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva.
You may be wondering where the mountain got its nickname – hold on to your helmets because the area is also popular among motorcycle fans for its high-altitude landscape with 70 U-shaped bends. These winding roads, which are spread across a little more than 15 kilometres, are nearly continuous and a pleasure to drive on, if you’re brave enough.
