The art of light painting combines with the artistry of skateboarding to bring you this image from Arvada Skatepark in Colorado. At over 3,700 square metres, it is the third-largest skate park in the United States. The massive park opened in 2012 and features lots of different skating obstacles, including a snake run, bowls, stairs and ledges.
This image was created using a method called ‘light painting’, a photographic technique that involves moving a light source while taking a long-exposure photograph. In this way the artist can ‘draw’ with light on the photo.
