The Palace of Westminster illuminated in rainbow colours for Pride in London in 2017
Today, thousands of revellers will join this year's Pride parade through the heart of London as the streets of the capital transform into a huge party to celebrate the LGBT+ community. The annual march, now in its 46th year, is one of the world’s largest Pride events and brings a splash of colour to the city, which will be decorated with rainbow patterns inspired by the iconic flag, seen here projected on to the Palace of Westminster. The theme for 2018 is “Pride Matters”, encouraging people to think about what Pride means to them.
