The year of the tiger. Bengal tiger, Rajasthan, India
We’re celebrating the start of Chinese New Year festivities with a homepage Bengal tiger, photographed in India’s Ranthambore National Park. In Chinese tradition, each year is named after one of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac and 2022 is the year of the tiger. In Chinese culture, the tiger is a symbol of strength and people born in the year of the tiger are said to be brave, competitive and confident. Sounds like traits we can all aspire to in 2022. Happy new year!
