The moon rises over Glastonbury Tor, England
July 20 is Moon Day, commemorating the first time that a human being set foot on the Moon, this day in 1969. Glastonbury Tor, shown here, provides a magical setting for pondering the celestial body, especially during a full moon. It’s said that King Arthur and his knights visited this site in the English county of Somerset and some believe it to be the Avalon of Arthurian legend.
