Info. Cyclists over the river Soča, Triglav National Park, Slovenia
We're at Triglav National Park in Slovenia, looking down on cyclists riding across this wooden suspension bridge over the blue water of the river called Soča. Protecting some of the most magnificent mountain landscapes of the Julian Alps, Triglav is Slovenia’s only national park. It runs across the country’s northwestern border with Italy and was made a national park in 1981. It gets its name from the mountain in the middle of the park, Mount Triglav, the highest peak of the Julian Alps and long considered a symbol of Slovenia.
