Uranium Arch, Utah
Moab in eastern Utah is famed for its rugged red rock landscape and dry climate, which makes it the ideal location for outdoor exploration. With a nickname like the Adventure Capital of the West, it’s not difficult to understand why more and more thrill-seekers – like the cyclists we see here over Uranium Arch – are attracted to this adventure-lovers’ playground.
Spanning 23 metres, Uranium Arch is among more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches you can find outside Arches National Park near Moab. In addition to these sweeping formations, there’s plenty of other sights to explore, such as balanced stone formations, gigantic sandstone fins, petrified sand dunes and soaring pinnacles and spires.
