The $20 view

Today, we're looking at Moraine Lake in Banff National Park. And if you're thinking that this amazing view is worth more than $20, you're right. But this priceless scene was once featured on a $20 bill, hence the nickname.

Moraine Lake is just one of the many beautiful areas in the country’s oldest national park. Banff was established in 1885 as a reserve to protect natural hot springs and the surrounding area from development. Located in Alberta's Rocky Mountains, the park now covers more than 6,641 square kilometres. Bordered by provincial parks and two other national parks, Banff is the centre of a vast, pristine wilderness.
