An alpine sanctuary
About 15 minutes from the city’s downtown, Grouse Mountain makes for a convenient attraction for Vancouverites especially during winters. With activities such as skiing, snowboarding, mountaintop skating and ziplining, adventure seekers of all ages flock to this destination to indulge in some outdoor fun. Standing some 4,100 feet above the city, this alpine gem offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Before you go, be sure to check the weather as some trails can be closed due to icy and snowy conditions.
