Sculptor Jaume Plensa has created numerous large sculptures around the globe. ‘Le Nomade’ depicts a human figure, made of painted stainless steel cut into letters. The sculpture is large enough that visitors in Antibes, France, can walk inside it. This was Plensa’s intention—he says that he tries to create art that appeals to more than just our visual sense. The artist was once quoted as saying, 'Ideas can be touched too.'
