Manali calling. Manali, the gateway to the Himalayas
Summer is a great time to visit the picturesque beauty of Manali. Serving as the beginning of an ancient trade route through Ladakh, Manali is now the access point to places like the Spiti Valey and Leh. Not too far away at a distance of 270 kilometres lies Shimla, the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. With a population of just over 8,000, you’d probably see a lot more than that during the summer months when tourists flock to the town of Manali.
