On the John Muir Trail
We’re on the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada mountain range of California, USA. The 210-mile trail is so long, to hike it all would take you through three US national parks: Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia. It takes average hikers about two to three weeks to complete, although the record for the fastest trip was set in 2017 by French ultrarunner François D'Haene, who ran the trail in two days, 19 hours and 26 minutes.
