A red fox on the Swiss side of the Jura Mountain range
Red foxes are a common sight in this subalpine range that separates the Rhine river valley in Switzerland from the Rhône river valley in France. This photo was taken with a remote camera so that the images reveal the local wildlife behaving as they would when no human photographer is present, giving us a more natural glimpse into the lives of our fellow creatures.
