Columbian lilies on Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park, Washington
Tiger lilies, Columbian lilies, no matter what you call them, these blooms add a splash of colour to the deep green that covers Hurricane Ridge and Olympic National Park this time of the year. The park, located on Washington state’s Olympic Peninsula, boasts a temperate rainforest, rocky coastline, alpine meadows and Hurricane Ridge, a steep slope just 15 miles from the nearby town of Port Angeles.
