They are known for their intricate courtship dances, during which pairs engage in synchronized movements and calls, creating a beautiful spectacle.

Highly adaptable, they thrive in open grasslands, wetlands and arid regions. However, their populations are threatened by habitat destruction, hunting and human disturbance. Conservation efforts, including habitat restoration and legal protection, are vital to ensuring their survival.
