The Dome in Edinburgh, Scotland
The owners of The Dome saw classic Graeco-Roman architecture and thought: needs more lights. Or at least they decided to go all out when putting up the Christmas decorations. Built as a bank headquarters in 1847, The Dome is one of Edinburgh’s iconic buildings in the heart of the New Town. These days it’s a restaurant and bar and probably very easy to spot if you’re navigating the crowded streets at this time of year.
