Taiwan yuhinas in Alishan National Scenic Area
The Taiwan yuhina is a chirpy little bird with a brownish crest. Often found in hilly forests and only on the island of Taiwan, these birds are sometimes called gossip mongers because they constantly chatter while feeding in flocks. Strangely, they can sometimes be spotted hanging upside-down on cherry trees like bats. Birdwatchers can glimpse the small songbirds at the Alishan National Scenic Area, which features postcard-worthy forest trails and picturesque sunrises.
