Welcome to Croatia’s spectacular Kornati National Park, which protects scores of islands, islets and reefs over 84 square miles in the Adriatic Sea. This stunning natural setting is the perfect location for swimming, snorkelling and sailing or just soaking it all in on the European Day of Parks. Kornati is one of nine national parks in Croatia and can be visited on a day trip from the ancient seaside city of Zadar. Many tour boats offer quick access, some with local food to enjoy en route. But you may well want to spend more than a day exploring the island wonders here, it’s an ecotourist’s dream.
