The Crescent City Connection bridges in New Orleans, Louisiana
If you need to cross the Mississippi River to get into Orleans Parish, chances are you’ll use the parallel bridges on US Route 90 Business, known to many as the Crescent City Connection. They’re the farthest downstream bridges on the river, so they’re used heavily for commercial traffic into and out of the city. But, like infrastructure in so many cities, the Crescent City Connection has become an iconic part of New Orleans’ identity.
