We're admiring the lush greenery and tall mountains from Varandha Ghat, a scenic mountain passage for road traffic in Maharashtra, India. These hills are part of the Western Ghats, a mountain range stretching over 1,600 kilometres along the west coast of India. The Western Ghats is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most biodiversity-rich landscapes on the planet with over 7,000 flowering plants and hundreds of mammals, birds and amphibians. In our image, we are surrounded by dense forests and waterfalls.
