Info. Grizzly bear cubs in Denali National Park, Alaska, USA
The grizzly bear cubs in our photo are playing in Denali National Park in Alaska, United States. Pregnant female grizzly bears settle into their den in winter and give birth while hibernating, usually to two cubs, who are born blind and without fur. While their mother sleeps, the cubs feed on her milk and grow quickly. When spring arrives, the new family come out of their den to search for food. These siblings will live with their mother for two to three years before they are left to take care of themselves.
